When my husband and I had just started dating, he told me that he suffered from migraines, and myself, not being a migraine sufferer, I didn’t really get it.
And then we went on a trip, our first overnight trip together, and he got a migraine that night, and I saw firsthand what it looked like to take care of somebody that suffered from debilitating migraines to the point where they’re vomiting.
They’re in the dark room.
They can’t hear noises.
He couldn’t even listen to my voice.
Because of that, I have a drive, and I believe that every single migraine sufferer should have access to care that will benefit them in a way that they can live the life that they deserve.
